Why online journalism won't put print media out of business . . .
. . . according to Arianna Huffington in the
Slate Birthday Symposium podcast I'm listening to:
- Her 17-year-old daughter, who prefers to watch Desperate Housewives on her iPod although "she has a perfectly good plasma TV in her bedroom," declined Huffington's offer to get her an internship with The Huffington Post or Slate because she preferred to take an internship at Vanity Fair.
Although the podcast is only half over, I suppose it's too much to hope that she will have a chance to explain why video games will never fully supplant polo.
