Painful Home Companion

Seriously, have you listened to this crap? I did for a while this morning and it was painful. "Diet Police"? Oh, yeah, hilarious.

And they want me to pledge money to keep this on the air? I think not. I might pledge if they promised not to broadcast it.

Whenever I stumble upon PHC (sort of like how I stumbled onto your blog just now) I am powerless to change the station, amazed that such a thing exists in my world.

I like the way the NPR stations try to guilt you into donating. "You just sit there all year and enjoy our programming, commercial free, and now you can't even be bothered to open up the checkbook?"

I rarely listen to PHC due to its immense corniness, but when I saw it in person I found it warmly entertaining. Go figure....guess "Ya Hadda Be There".
