Shouldn't this be made out of paper?

Honoring the 1st anniversary of the GR Digital and marking the 10th anniversary since the debut of the popular GR Series film camera, as a gesture of Ricoh's appreciation of their customers Ricoh has announced a limited edition of a special GR Digital 1st Anniversary Commemorative Model.

Renowned Japanese illustrator Katsuya Terada has deigned [sic] the commemorative model to feature a blue sky and clouds as the base colour for the camera with figures of angels beside the lens and on the top of the camera body. - Ricoh website
Appreciation for their potential customers, on other hand, would be expressed by making the regular black model available in the U.S. and not charging more than $600 for it. Don't sell the Canon stock just yet.
