Blinkx.tv

This is pretty cool. [LINK]

It uses voice recognition to allow searching of video clips from various sources. Seems a bit ahead of Google's product, which I think relies on closed-captioning transcripts and doesn't yet make much actual video available. I think this is because Blinkx redirects you to already available sources for its indexed video, while Google intends to make all its video available directly with a proprietary player plug-in.

I did a quick search, IRAQ RESPONSIBLE FOR 9/11, and found this completely idiotic video. No one has ever been able to explain, to my satisfaction at least, how things would have played out differently if GWB had not finished reading My Pet Goat to those kids. But I digress.
