It's a wonder we won the Cold War . . .

. . . what with all the tricks the Soviets had up their sleeves. [LINK]

But apart from the weather control, the remote flash-freezing capabilty, the electromagnetic pulse capability, the earthquake induction capability, the sanitation, the aqueduct and the roads, what did the Soviets ever do for their enslaved peoples?
