Miraculously, the face of John Paul II appeared in an irreverent blog entry written months after his death

"The Vatican must confirm one miracle from after John Paul's death for him to be beatified, and a second miracle occurring after the beatification for him to be made a saint. John Paul died on April 2.

"Some churchmen have suggested John Paul could also be declared a martyr, which would spare the Vatican from having to confirm a miracle for him to be beatified. John Paul survived a 1981 attempt on his life and suffered for many years from Parkinson's disease." [LINK]
"Martyr: a person who voluntarily suffers death as the penalty of witnessing to and refusing to renounce a religion." Yes, indeed, it's a wonder there isn't a picture of POPE JOHN PAUL II in the dictionary next to that definition. Never underestimate the power of Roman Catholic theology to offer the most tortured interpretation possible. Really, I don't think the issue of martyrdom will come up. My little sixth sense for the Roman Catholic Church tells me they will find those two miracles.

Whoa! Make that one miracle.

I think, perhaps, you and I might meet again one day... IN HELL.
