I can't say I missed the blog particularly

Sorry for the hiatus. I was enjoying a lovely long weekend at the Oregon Coast, courtesy of my dear friend. Here's a pretty--and pretty overworked--shot of what Heceta Head looked like during one of the non-stormy intervals ("they mostly come at night . . . mostly"). One night I hiked to an area below the lighthouse (not visible in this photo) after dark and did various interesting night photography experiments. Might turn out well, might not.

During the day, there was plenty of opportunity for storm-watching or, for aficionados of Bandon Dunes, "Scottish-golfing-weather-watching."

Stay tuned for various pent-up updates.
