Mutant attack zone . . . lights on for safety

I saw "X-Men: The Last Stand" today--not nearly as bad as some reviews had suggested.

Only a few points to make at this time:

I wasn't sure why the only two black women mutants had to keep mixing it up with one another, catfight style.

During the climactic battle, after the Golden Gate Bridge has been uprooted for use as a siege weapon, night falls. Later, we see that all the residual cars on the bridge have their lights on. But besides that jarring detail all the action was completely believable.

Oh, and [SPOILER ALERT] why is Magneto still wearing his goofy helmet in the final battle?
