". . . a stodgy, grim thing"

That's the verdict on The Da Vinci Code from Variety. Can't say I'm shocked.

Of course, they also say that "what it's proposing undermines the fundamental tenants [sic] of Christianity." I say it's high time someone did something about those damn tenants, with their chanting at odd hours and their smelly cooking.
