Now he's really going to get it!

Salman Rushdie, who was forced into hiding after receiving death threats over his novel, The Satanic Verses, criticised the Muslim veil yesterday, saying it "sucks". - The Guardian,October 11, 2006

You've done it now, Salman.

This reminds me of one of my very favorite jokes, which, you can imagine, was even funnier 20 years ago:

"Did you hear the name of Salman Rushdie's new book?"

"No, what is it?"

"Buddha . . . you FAT FUCK!"
