Way to go antennae!

A little update on this post about the supposed postings by Seal on a camera bulletin board. I wrote on Monday that "I think by the end most of the skepticism has dissipated." In fact, after that the skepticism intensified. A well-known reviewer of camera equipment insisted that it was an elaborate hoax, that he had the proof and that he would share the proof (or at least how he figured out it was a hoax) at a later time. (Interestingly, this guy first disputed that Seal could have a beta version of some Adobe program code-named "Red Pill," because there was no such code name. Then it turned out the reviewer was wrong about that.)

I was waiting for the promised proof of a hoax, with some consternation because I pride myself on finely-tuned antennae for such things and was pretty much on record here in this widely-read online publication as believing the Seal posts were authentic.

Still waiting for the "proof" that it is all a hoax. I think the likelihood of the proof materializing has just declined precipitously (click the links on the page). Way to go antennae!

UPDATE: I left out the best part.
