Most electable?

Democratic voters in Iowa and New Hampshire . . . . view Mrs. Clinton as the . . . most electable Democrat in the field, the [latest New York Times/CBS News Polls] found. New York Times, November 14, 2007
I don't know whether this most a commentary on singular nature of this particular election cycle, the stupidity of these voters or the weakness of the Democratic field. She's the same polarizing figure she's always been and her presence at the top of the national ticket will guarantee this election—which should be the Democrats' to throw away—stays interesting to the very end. Hillary Clinton's only electability advantage is her inside track to the nomination. Give this nomination to Obama, Edwards, Gore, Clark or untainted versions of Kerry, Dean, Gephardt, etc. and I'm confident any of them would fare better than Clinton.

Hey buddy,

As "snooty" as your post may be, LOL, I couldn't agree more. Thank heavens the Hillary anointment is beginning to seem more like an episode of "Crowned" than the automatic coronation I feared it would be.
