Untenable opinions, a blog-comment essay in three parts


I'm not writing a fashion blog or a blog about aesthetics (although, of course, I could), but I was struck by three comments on this breathtakingly fetching shot from The Sartorialist.

The outfit in the top is great, but needs to have the legs covered in black.

I wouldn't want my name associated with ideas like those either.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I must begin packing for my forthcoming move back to New York City.
