Grasping for straws

“We believe that Hillary Clinton in the long run is better position[ed] to take on John McCain,” Mr. Penn told reporters. “She has consistently shown an electoral resiliency in difficult situations that have made her a winner. Senator Obama has in fact never had a serious Republican challenger.” - New York Times, February 12, 2008

So now we should be voting for her because she faced down Rep. Rick Lazio? They are really in trouble. I think we may see the end not long after she loses Ohio and Texas, maybe around March 7 or so. There are a lot of telling bits in that article for those willing to read between the lines.
