Shouldn't it be obvious?
A new national poll from Time suggests that Obama—not Clinton—is the stronger candidate against McCain. In hypothetical matchups, Obama beats McCain by seven points while McCain ties Clinton. That, despite the fact that Obama still trails Clinton by six points among Democrats. This jives with a bunch of other polls that have Obama as the stronger general election warrior. It seems Obama, aided by independents, is more electable in the general election than in the Democratic primary. - Slate's Trailhead BlogHillary's electability deficit isn't something new. It's not something to do all that much with Obama or with which GOP opponent they postulate. The fact is that tons of people can't stand Hillary and in any normal year she would be unelectable. This year, she might still be. I wonder why so many Democrats seem to have forgotten this, or thought differently.
