“I know where I'm headed.”
ROGER THORNHILL

Wednesday, March 05, 2008

Um, what if they have to call him at 3 a.m. about you?

After flying from Ohio to Washington overnight, Mrs. Clinton was in high spirits during her appearances on a bevy of morning news shows. She was even able to laugh off — though at the same time appear open to — the possibility of sharing a ticket with Mr. Obama, provided she got top billing.

“That may, you know, be where this is headed,” said Mrs. Clinton on “The Early Show” on CBS with a broad grin and a laugh. “But, of course, we have to decide who’s on the top of the ticket. And I think the people of Ohio very clearly said that it should be me.” - New York Times, March 5, 2008
So we'd be reckless to elect someone so inexperienced to be our 3-a.m.-phone-call-answerer, but she'd be fine putting him next in line for the job.

We are reminded, yet again, that Hillary Clinton has no principles.
