Great, now how are we supposed to get from West Seattle to Interbay?

How thoroughly was the Seattle Monorail Project routed at the polls yesterday? So much so that I don't believe the phrase "the people's train" appeared in any comments from supporters in the daily papers.

We now get to keep paying the excise tax on the artificially-inflated values ascribed to our vehicles for perhaps two more years until $110 million in SMP debts are paid off. That will be galling.

I wonder how much longer they will continue to issue the registration stickers with the little monorail picture on them. Probably until they run out. Jerks.

Well, how do you get there now?

That was a rhetorical question incorporating irony.

For the record, however, I have never once needed to get from West Seattle to Interbay, a distinction I share with perhaps 95% of Seattle's population.
