Sic transit Peach-O-Rama

Do I dare to eat a QFC peach? Looks like another classic institution will be replaced by a mediocre, uninspired low common denominator. [LINK] Isn't it always the way?

Anyone familiar with the Queen Anne Metropolitan Market--the rebadged Queen Anne Thriftway--knows that this 15,000 s.f. legend is ten times the supermarket Kroger is capable of replacing it with. My uncle put it well in an email moments ago: "Yeah, there aren't quite enough QFCs all over the fucking place....."

In a related point, if you ever find some article of clothing you really, really like because it's a true classic, buy several because they are almost sure to stop making it pretty soon.
