Seattle is an interesting place

We have two main free "alternative" weekly papers. One's editors appear to have decided it no longer needs a table of contents (current issue: 91 pages).

The other one has a cover teaser this week reading "INTERVIEW: American Optimist, Noam Chomsky." Noam Chomsky is many things, but an optimist cannot be one of them. At first I suspected conscious irony, but, no, I don't think it was.
