My random comments on the first half of the Super Bowl

  • It seems Dr. Seuss's heirs have let him down again.

  • If our guys would stop wearing neon green gloves, it might be harder to get caught for holding. They should be wearing white-and-black gloves with a little yellow.

  • Wouldn't you think it would be a jinx to appear in ads during the first half caressing the Vince Lombardi Trophy?

  • Apparently Robert Palmer's heirs have let him down as well.

  • Oh, yes, the game. Nice officiating! Offensive pass interference my ass. We seem to be getting a lot more looks than they are, whereas they are converting more 3rd-and-28 situations than we are. You can't let the opposing QB run around for that long. There's no call for that sort of thing. Nice last drive of the half. What was that all about?
