Interesting

This is potentially a very cool development. Sony bought the Konica/Minolta DSLR business and they have some nice technologies. And now they will have Zeiss autofocus lenses to fit their cameras (it's unclear who is actually manufacturing these Zeiss-branded lenses, but I'll expect Zeiss to keep its standards up). Not many companies should worry Canon in the DSLR space, but Sony must be one of them. And like Canon but unlike Nikon, Sony does make its own sensors. Indeed, Sony makes Nikon's sensors. This doesn't help little Nikon one bit, or those who keep waiting for a Nikon DSLR with a "full frame" 36x24mm sensor.
