So they'd been living in a sandcastle since 1998, the "tide" came in after five years, and Salon seems to want to place moral blame on the Bush Administration. Just because you can write a human-interest story about something—and there's a human-interest story to be written about most anything—doesn't mean it's George Bush's or Dick Cheney's or John Ashcroft's fault.
