And at no time was I presented with a single candle

The Pacific Ocean observes MWR's birthday

Some close friends and family joined me on the Central Oregon Coast this weekend for a lovely celebration of my first post-Jack-Benny birthday. The setting, weather, company, menu and gifts were all delightful. I only wish more friends had been able to make the trip and that we'd all been able to hang out all weekend. Apparently some of these people have lives. It's safe to say that we were wise to pursue the Oregon Coast option and not the Bangkok option.

I could write more, but I'm not in the mood. Thanks to all who were there or wanted to be there, and to the many others who made "birthday season" so memorable.

Forgot to tell you "Happy Birthday!" Was that 40? Heard the Seattle party got canceled due to stormy weather... but you could dance to that music on the little brass imbedded feet on Broadway near your home... auntie Cy
