Hats off

Here's what my dad wrote on December 15, 2006:
My political crystal ball is de-clouding a bit. I now doubt HRC can get the nomination. It's Obama. HRC really has no message at this point, and her history is that she doesn't have a message so much as she carries a list of things-to-do. Boring. So 5 minutes ago. Looking for new flesh. Obama automatically captures the anti-war folks without saying a word, so he can spend his message (which is?) on other things. I'm now wondering if there is a GOP candidate who can beat him. How about this for the poster inside the campaign headquarters: It's the charisma, stupid.
Not bad, eh?
