R.I.P. Donald Fleming

But there's one more thing you should know about Hei—deg—ger . . . and you're not go—ing to liiiike this: HE WAS A NAZI!—An unrepentant Nazi until the end of his life.

Professor Donald Fleming died last month. Fleming's four wonderful intellectual history courses defined the concept of a "work gut" (go to class, read two novels), yet taught us so much. His lectures, incomparable tours d'horizon, should have been collected. It's tragic that they aren't available on video somewhere.
