Wow

I'm posting this from my BlackBerry while lying in my tent on Yellow Aster Butte in the Mount Baker Wilderness. It's crazy that I have T-Mobile data service here, and better than in parts of Seattle (e.g., Montlake Ale House). Type "Yellow Aster Butte" into Google Maps to share my surprise. Contact with the world detracts from the experience. I had only brought the device along as my alarm. It's gorgeous here though there are too many bugs and other people. Both have their annoyances. The tent is a lovely bug-free zone and I may hang in here for a while. It clouded up overnight so most likely the heat won't be oppressive today. Photos to come later.
