I'm a serious journalist— your job is what I say it is

But, with all due respect, your job as the head of the EPA, the Environmental Protection Agency, is to protect people from the environment. Did you really do it? - Katie Couric, interviewing former EPA Administrator Christine Todd Whitman about Ground Zero workers' lung problems, 60 Minutes
So I guess the EPA dropped the ball big time on Katrina.

But the agency has had its share of triumphs too—it's been years since anyone died from a snail-darter bite.
