I think I need a new publicist

Katie Melua is preparing to plunge 300m under the North Sea to play the deepest gig ever.

The singer, who has been in training for the feat, said it would be "pretty cool" to set a Guinness World Record for the world's deepest underwater performance.

She will be watched by oil rig workers at the Statoil Troll platform - part of Europe's biggest off-shore gas field. - Digital Spy, October 1, 2006
No one reminded me to invite the Guinness representatives to last year's dramatic reading of King Lear in the Marianas Trench. Live and learn.

Still, it was quite something to hear, what with the heliox mixture I had to breathe.

Where DO you find the odd little illustrations--animated or not--which show frequently in your blog? Would like a larger version of this one, it's so odd.
